isolation transformer

The isolation transformer conducts the load galvanic isolation from the circuit according to IEC 601 standart. Field of application: medical institutions.

Keep in mind that the isolation transformer and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) are different, complimentary but not interchangeable devices.

The isolation transformer is intended for electric shock prevention of a patient if some troubles appear in electric network.

The uninterruptible power supply supports the device operability when power is suddenly cut-off.
