At the use of Poly-Spectrum-8/EX wireless digital ECG system Poly-Spectrum-Mobile software allows performing ECG studies on the communicator or Pocket PC with the same quality as on the desktop PC-based computers. Simultaneously one can record all 12 standard ECG leads.

High Quality of ECG Recording on Poly-Spectrum-8/EX
Poly-Spectrum-8/EX digitizes ECG with 250 Hz sampling rate at 24 bits A/D converter capacity. It has the system of hardware compensation of patient's cable capacitance change emerging at a patient's movements and the set of high-capacity digital filters. All these features enable to record high-quality ECG under any circumstances.

Bluetooth Interface
The electronic unit of Poly-Spectrum-8/EX digital ECG system is connected to the communicator using the wireless Bluetooth interface. It opens the new capabilities for those who record ECG with the use of communicator or pocket PC. There is no need to get tangled in the wires trying to connect the digital ECG system to the computer. A doctor and a patient can easily move along the room and even beyond it staying not more than 7 meters from each other.

Self-control and Quick Consultations of Doctor
Using Poly-Spectrum-8/EX digital ECG system and communicator with Bluetooth technology, a patient can perform self-control of ECG at any convenient time and send the ECG records for the analysis on-the-fly, for example, to the family physician or the attending medical doctor.

The duration of one ECG record as well as the maximum number of checkups for Poly-Spectrum-Mobile system is limited only by the memory volume installed in the pocket PC.

ECG Measurement and Interpretation
The software allows performing ECG measurement and interpretation by averaged QRS complex, generate the detailed table of amplitude-time parameters of the analyzed complex. Besides, the software generates the interpretation automatically.

Heart Rate Variability
The software allows to register ECG background record and the record of the orthostatic probe, calculate the rhythmogram and spectrogram of probes and also the main parameters of heart rate variability (HRV).

Sending of Checkups to Any Computer Connected to Internet
After finishing of ECG recording the software displays the message box offering the record sending by e-mail. The e-mail letter with the attached checkup is sent on-the-fly to the center of telemedical consultations by one button pressing.
To transfer the signal to the remote computer, the digital system uses the cellular communications, in particular,
GPRS service or data communication technologies in 3G networks.
Nowadays the most part of the cellular communication operators provide this service. In this case the payment is taken not for the time as during the common telephone calls but for the volume of the transferred information. As far as ECG has small size, the cost of one ECG transfer is low.

Center of Telemedical Consultations
Poly-Spectrum-Mobile is the software allowing to make the communicator and Poly-Spectrum-8/EX digital ECG system with Bluetooth radio interface one of the most convenient means of ECG fast transfer. It is actual in the places where ECG recording and analysis by traditional means is impossible or complicated such as from a patient's house, village first-aid station, ambulance car. It is extremely important when the emergency consultation
is required.
 Two small devices: communicator and digital ECG system with cable and set of electrodes weight together less than a kilogram and can be easily placed in a handbag.
The recorded ECG can be sent as a common e-mail letter to any computer connected to Internet. The received ECG can be printed, saved or analyzed, for example, with the use of Poly-Spectrum-Analysis software included in Poly-Spectrum-8/EX delivery set.
All the checkups are saved in the database of the computer located in the center of telemedical consultations.
In spite of the small dimensions of the whole digital system, together with Poly-Spectrum-8/EX digital ECG system, it allows ECG recording and transmitting with very high quality of digitization: 250 Hz, 24 bits.
The undoubted advantage of this approach is an extremely low cost of the infrastructure required for the creation of the network of the remote cardiological consultations. Such network can consist of one computer installed in the consultation center and connected to Internet via modem by the common telephone line and several digital ECG systems equipped by Poly-Spectrum-Mobile software.
